Robert Vohra is a holder of a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science & International Economic Relations from Columbia University, New York. He also studied at Georgetown University Law Center, Washington, D.C., and graduated with a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) and Master of Law (LL.M) (Taxation). Whilst at Georgetown University Law Center, he was an Editor of the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics.

At Knapp et al, he formed part of the business transactions portfolio, which has contributed, to his vast knowledge of issues in commerce and taxation.
Notable highlights in Robert Vohra’s career occurred whilst working with Shawn, Mann & Steinfeld, in Washington, D.C. He was extensively involved in a case whereby the constitutionality of New York’s franchise tax was successfully challenged under the foreign commerce clause; thus ensuring the reversal of a NASD de-listing order for a foreign company. Another highlight occurred whilst as a partner at Thiemann, Aitken & Vohra, LLC, where Robert Vohra represented clients on a range of tax and corporate matters. Creating a novel defense, Robert successfully captured favorable settlements on 2 massive collection actions filed by Atlantic City Casinos.
