Robert Vohra is a holder of a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science & International Economic Relations from Columbia University, New York. He also studied at Georgetown University Law Center, Washington, D.C., and graduated with a Juris Doctorate (J.D.) and Master of Law (LL.M) (Taxation). Whilst at Georgetown University Law Center, he was an Editor of the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics.

Sherwood Capital Corporation is a leading financial services firm, which offers a complete range of financial planning services, amongst them being loan modification, debt restructuring, and other wealth management services.  At Sherwood Capital Corporation, he is directly involved in the daily operations of the company.

Concurrently, he is also the current Managing Director of Longstreet Worldwide LLC; a position held since 2011. Longstreet Worldwide LLC deals with high-powered business transactions and is hailed as a top tier international real estate and energy investment-banking firm. Longstreet Worldwide LLC delivers consulting and acquisition services on structured financing for mega valued projects that may range anywhere from $25 million to $750 million.

Prior to his current positions, Robert Vohra was a partner at both Vohra & Associates, PLLC and at Thiemann, Aitken & Vohra, LLC. Additionally, he was an associate and then partner with Shawn, Mann & Steinfeld in Washington, D.C. and associate at Knapp, Marsh, Jones & Doran. Whilst at Vohra & Associates, Robert dealt with a range of clients, handling general corporate, commercial and commercial-related issues in litigation. At Knapp et al, he formed part of the business transactions portfolio, which has contributed, to his vast knowledge of issues in commerce and taxation.

Notable highlights in Robert Vohra’s career occurred whilst working with Shawn, Mann & Steinfeld, in Washington, D.C. He was extensively involved in a case whereby the constitutionality of New York’s franchise tax was successfully challenged under the foreign commerce clause; thus ensuring the reversal of a NASD de-listing order for a foreign company. Another highlight occurred whilst as a partner at Thiemann, Aitken & Vohra, LLC, where Robert Vohra represented clients on a range of tax and corporate matters. Creating a novel defense, Robert successfully captured favorable settlements on 2 massive collection actions filed by Atlantic City Casinos.
